QUICK START GUIDE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Culleoka Company’s Natural Based Cleaner (NBC) a disinfectant or sanitizer?
No, Culleoka Company’s NBC is neither a disinfectant nor a sanitizer. Research, including studies supported by the CDC, highlights that plain soap and water or surfactant-based cleaners (like the ones Culleoka Company provides) are more effective at removing germs than sanitizers/disinfectants, which may leave resistant bacteria behind. Cully’s cleaning solutions focus on removing germs rather than killing them.

Laundry Tips
Cully’s NBC may seem too little for effective cleaning, but only 1/2 to 1 capful during soak cycle is needed per load. Always pre-treat stains for the best results.

Wood Finishes
Cully’s NBC solutions are safe for wood floors and furniture when diluted properly. Vacuum or use a microfiber mop before cleaning to prevent scratches. Test on an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility.

Essential Oils
Yes, Cully’s scented products contain essential oils. Lavender not only smells great, but it also deters drain flies. Our products are also available unscented.

Probiotics
How Long will our Probiotics Work? NBC Lavender is our go-to for home cleaning, kitchen and bath and mop solution. This formula was lab tested by UMass TURI labs for efficacy of cleaning and duration. Our bacteria blend was shown to have effectiveness up to 96 hours in the presence of a food source (organic biofilm). The main point is to introduce a positive solution to surfaces vs the negative impacts often created by common cleaning chemicals. Shelf Life
Three to six months after opening. Prolong life by keeping it in a dark cabinet.

  ROOM-BY-ROOM CLEANING GUIDE

Kitchen

  • Countertops (Stone, Marble, Granite): Spray Cully’s NBC, let sit for 2 minutes, and wipe clean. Test first for compatibility with sealers.
  • Appliances: Clean coffee makers by adding 2 oz of Cully’s Scale & Scum Remover with water, running a cycle, and rinsing with fresh water.
  • Drains and Garbage Disposals: Pour 4-6 oz of Cully’s Drain Septic & Sewer into the drain or spray directly. Let sit overnight, plunge, and rinse.

Bathroom

  • Soap Scum Removal: Spray Cully’s Scale and Scum Remover, let sit for 2- 5 minutes, and wipe firmly with a sponge or scouring pad. Repeat as necessary.
  • Grout and Mold: Apply Cully’s Scale & Scum Remover. Let sit for 2 – 5 minutes, scrub with a brush, and rinse.
  • Hard Water Deposits: Spray Cully’s Scale and Scum Remover and let it sit for 10 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.

Floors and Furniture

  • Hardwood Floors: Use a diluted solution of our Natural Based Cleaner (2 oz per gallon of water). Mop floor and always test in a hidden area first.
  • Furniture: For wood, use our NBC and spray onto a damp micro-fiber cloth. Wipe clean.
  • Carpet and Fabric - Begin by testing our Natural Based Cleaner on an inconspicuous area for color fastness. (Our product works best if used first on a stain. Most common cleaners, if unsuccessful in stain removal, will set the stain in chemically).
    Use as a direct spray (bottle and sprayer) or blot onto a cloth.

For spot removal, simply spray stain and allow the solution to ‘dwell’ for 2-3 minutes. Use a cloth to remove the stain in a press and twist method.

To treat an entire carpet, mix 4-6 oz of the solution per gallon of water and spray it liberally over the carpet. Allow it to dwell for 10-15 minutes. After that, add NBC to your carpet cleaner and use it as directed.
Repeat if necessary. Never scrub the stain - it could smear. No need to saturate the stained area.

   LAUNDRY AND STAINS

General Laundry Tips

·        Simply use 8 oz of Cully’s NBC for a standard load of clothes in a soak cycle. Pretreat organic soils on fabric prior to wash - allowing the probiotic solution to dwell for 10-15 minutes. 

BABIES, CHILDREN, AND PET CARE

Baby-Safe Cleaning

  • Highchairs: Spray and wipe with NBC.
  • Toys: Soak washable toys in 6 oz NBC mixed with a gallon of water, rinse, and air dry.

GARAGE AND VEHICLE CARE

  • Engines: Hose off debris, spray Cully’s Natural Based Grease, Tar and Odor Remover liberally, let soak 5 minutes, scrub, and rinse thoroughly.
  • Driveways: Remove oil stains by spraying Cully’s Natural Based Grease, Tar and Odor Remover, scrubbing, and rinsing.
  • Interiors: Spray NBC onto stains on upholstery, agitate with a brush, and wipe clean. Test on inconspicuous area first.

OTHER USES

  • Walls and Ceilings: Use 4 ounces NBC in a gallon of water for occasional deep cleaning. Dip microfiber into solution, wring out cloth and wipe surfaces clean.
